What: Protest against CAIR and Sharia Law outside CAIR leadership conference in Arlington VA, just outside DC.
Who: Tea Party Leader, Andrew Beacham, to lead protest, with other DC area participants. Mr. Beacham recently made international news - and has received many threats - for tearing passages out of the Quran in front of the White House.
When: 8:30 - 10:30 A.M., Saturday Morning, October 9.
Where: Marriott Crystal Gateway, October 9, 1700 Jefferson David Highway
Andrew Beacham states:
"I am a Tea Party Leader who leads from the front; I invite true patriots in the Tea Party movement to emulate Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams - and not just talk about them. Join us in our battle to confront and defeat Sharia law, and to defend our God given 'inalienable rights' from Muslims who are loyal to Sharia law, not our Constitution.
"For those who do not understand why I am confronting CAIR, Muslims, and public opinion on Sharia Law let me say this:
"I am not only defending Americans' freedoms today, but future Americans' freedom tomorrow.
"The Tea Party, as well as all Americans have a duty to be of good virtue and to defend the U.S. Constitution and human rights around the world. This defense of freedom is of a greater importance than even money or the 'economy.' Diversity training has robbed Americans of the ability to properly defend and discern justice and ethics in light of absolute truth and an all-powerful Creator.
"I am calling on Americans to ask CAIR and 'moderate Muslims' to denounce Sharia Law and to cry out against the abuse, the violence, and the murdering of innocent people around the world, but especially in Islamic countries for expressing a differing religious belief or opinion than Islam."
Samuel Adams defended our freedoms in the past for us today when he wrote these words:
. . . a people will not be free; if they have not virtue enough to maintain their liberty against a presumptuous invader, they deserve no pity, and are to be treated with contempt and ignominy. . . .
Our enemies would fain have us lie down on the bed of sloth and security, and persuade ourselves that there is no danger. . . .
The liberties of our Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks...Let us therefore be aware of it. Let us contemplate our forefathers and posterity; and resolve to maintain the rights bequeath’d to us from the former, for the sake of the latter.—Instead of sitting down satisfied with the efforts we have already made, which is the wish of our enemies, the necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude and perseverance. Let us remember, that 'if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration, which should deeply impress our minds, that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers in the event."

Ed Faddoul States:
"Islam claims to spring from a common root in Abraham, and therefore worships the same eternal God. This is the God of Genesis who created Adam and Eve; Adam's son Cain killed his brother, Abel, in jealousy. God defended Abel, saying that Abel's blood cried out to him from the soil where it was spilled and God punished Cain for his sin by banishing him but not killing or injuring him. Similarly, when God tested Abraham by asking for the life of his son Isaac in sacrifice, He prevented Abraham from carrying out the order, even providing the animal of sacrifice in Isaac's stead.
"This common God has showed himself to be a god of love. It is senseless for Islam to continue on the path of murder and torture to spread the religion if Allah is the true God of Abraham. That God is not pleased with hatred of the innocent or the shedding of innocent blood, be they Muslim or Infidel. Change your ways. Now!"
Gary Boisclair states:
"A 'religion' that allows its leaders to make threats on our lives for peacefully exercising our First Amendment rights is a farce; it is institutionalized violence. These leaders emulate their founder, Muhammad, perfectly. Is CAIR's modus operandi any different? We call upon Nihad Awad and all those attending this Leadership Conference to publicly denounce all such threats of violence. If they refuse, their silence shall indict them of sanctioning terrorism, of holding the U.S. Constitution hostage to Sharia Law."
