NEW YORK, May 12, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- ECFA (The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of the American Bible Society, headquartered in New York, N.Y.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
The American Bible Society joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by more than 35 million donors, which have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.
