KNOXVILLE, Tenn., July 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Abunga.com will host motherhood expert Susan Konig, 16-year-old teen fantasy writer Kristina Coia and spy novelist Geoffrey M. Gluckman at the "Authors at Abunga" online chats on July 30, Aug. 13 and Aug. 27, respectively.

"We are honored to have Konig, Coia and Gluckman joining us to chat in the coming weeks," said Abunga.com Chairman Lee Martin. "Our inaugural chat with psychological thriller author Melanie Wells provided participants a glimpse into her writing style and life as a psychotherapist. I am sure the upcoming chats with these gifted writers will provide equally interesting conversations for readers of all ages."

Konig, a veteran of the journalism world and regular humor columnist for Catholic Digest and National Review, is known for her "Bombeckian" take on life. Her latest book, "I Wear the Maternity Pants in this Family," is a witty collection of motherhood tales that has received rave reviews from Publishers Weekly, USA Today and Parade Magazine, to name a few. She is also author of "Why Animals Sleep So Close to the Road (and other lies I tell my children)" and is working on her third book in the motherhood trilogy, "Teenagers and Toddlers are Trying to Kill Me!" At the young age of 16, Coia is already an accomplished author, singer and motivational speaker. She is author of teen/young adult fantasy novels. Her first, "Falcon's Prey," has an accompanying soundtrack Coia wrote herself and has an underlying theme of self-esteem and self-respect. Wanting to spread this important message even further after the release of the book, Coia created the program, Shine Through, to teach children and young adults about self-worth, honesty and character development. Coia's newest book is "Lymeria," and she is currently working on her third novel. Additional information can be found at Abunga.com/FeaturedAuthorCoia

Gluckman pulled from his experience and expertise as a trained federal agent and member of the CIA when writing "Deadly Exchange," his first spy novel. He is also a feature writer for U.S., Canadian and Australian publications including Iron Horse Literary Review, Law Enforcement Technology and Credit Union Business. Along with writing, Gluckman is an exercise physiologist, credited with developing the Muscle Balance and Function Development education system and starting the postural and functional exercise revolution in North America. "Even though we just announced the Author Chats concept within the last few weeks, the response has been overwhelming," Martin continued. "We think it is an innovative way to connect authors with their fan-base so readers can ask the questions they wouldn't otherwise have an opportunity to pose directly to the author."

The chats are hosted at Abunga.com/AuthorsatAbunga from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EDT on alternating Wednesdays, and the schedule is posted and updated as additional authors sign-on to host sessions. One week prior to each chat, readers can visit the chat Web page to submit questions. Questions are also accepted during chats. Transcripts of all chats are archived on the "Authors at Abunga" page.
