NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- Ben Arment, founder of the STORY Conference, The Whiteboard Sessions and Dream Year, will be a plenary speaker at LifeWay Christian Resources' National Youth Workers Conference, which will be held Sept. 13-15 in Nashville, Tenn.

In addition to starting several creative ventures in ministry, Arment is the former innovation director for Catalyst Conference and the author of a new book entitled Church in the Making: What Makes or Breaks a New Church Before it Starts (B&H Publishing Group).

Joining Arment as plenary speakers are Derwin "Dewey" Gray, a former NFL defensive back and co-founder of One Heart At A Time Ministries; Jeff Iorg, president of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary; and "The Skit Guys" Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, who communicate God's Word and impact lives through comedy, drama and teaching. Christian band Addison Road also will perform during the conference.

The three-day National Youth Workers Conference is designed to provide inspiration and encouragement to youth workers, as well as give them practical ideas for enhancing their ministry to students.

In addition to plenary sessions and nearly 20 breakouts covering a wide range of student development topics, LifeWay's True Love Waits ministry will launch True Love Waits 3.0: A Path of Purity.

This new emphasis builds off True Love Waits' sexual abstinence-until-marriage message to include a variety of markers students experience from childhood to young adulthood.
