WASHINGTON, Oct. 16, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- The award-winning film "Voiceless" introduces viewers to a discharged soldier who discovers an abortion clinic operating across the street from his Philadelphia church. He struggles to motivate his church to get involved in protecting unborn babies, and eventually must decide whether to risk it all to fight for what is right.
Filmmakers say that "Voiceless" is the first pro-life film that powerfully addresses the reasons why most people don't engage the injustice of abortion. This film is brilliantly designed to inspire and motivate the church to action.
Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the world and performs over 330,000 abortions yearly in America alone which amounts to almost 900 a day.
Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Pastor of Church on the Hill and Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, both based in Washington, D.C. comments;
"Planned Parenthood is an organization established by a racist and KKK supporter who wanted to reduce the number of African-Americans. In fact, in New York City where they were founded 100 years ago, there are now more abortions in the black community then live births.
"We are coming to the front door of Planned Parenthood in our nation's capital to be a loud voice against the violence of abortion and stand as a public witness for human rights, justice and equality for all. We cannot be silent when an organization in the shadow of the United States Capitol celebrates 100 years of violence and bigotry.
"As we see more Americans embracing the pro-life message, our prayer is that Planned Parenthood ends up on the scrapheap of history like slavery and segregation. The film 'Voiceless' is a powerful tool to motivate the faith community and all people of goodwill to be a voice for those who have no voice."
Mark Harrington, President of Created Equal, adds;
"By showing this powerful film 'Voiceless' at the front door of Planned Parenthood, we are sending a powerful message that we will continue to be loud voice in the public square calling for an end to the tragic killing of innocent children through abortion.
"Regardless of the outcome of the Presidential election this November, Created Equal will never be silent or indifferent when it comes to confronting America concerning the reality and horror of abortion and this award winning film provides another creative and innovative way for us to do that."
Stuart Migdon, Executive Producer of "Voiceless" states:
"As our nation reflects on the one hundredth anniversary of Planned Parenthood, it's impossible not to consider that although they say they are for standing up for the rights of women, hundreds of thousands of little girls lose their rights and their lives every year at one of their many clinics-- it doesn't make sense! We must be the voice for these babies and speak up for what is right…their protection of life!"
The showing of "Voiceless" is sponsored by Church on the Hill, Created Equal and Students for Life.
