HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 21, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- Prison Minister and author Marty Angelo has accepted an invitation to appear on the Emmy-nominated late-night, Detroit based, Christian talk television show, "I'm Just Sayin."

The show airs every Monday through Friday at 10:30pm (CST) or streams live online at www.tct.tv (or www.tct.tv/demand.php). The show highlights those who are doing great things in ministry -- pastors, authors, music artists, poets and more.

"I think this type of program is a tremendous alternative to regular late night television talk shows." Angelo remarked. "There are not many choices out there in television land where good wholesome programming is offered. All of the late-night talk shows offer the same thing over and over again. Angelo is scheduled to tape his 30-minute interview on January 12, 2011 for airing later that month.

While Angelo is in Detroit he will also appear on the The Bob Dutko Radio Show, which is one of the largest Christian talk radio shows in the country. His live in-studio interview is scheduled for Wednesday January 12th at 1:05-1:35 (EST).

Angelo is also set to speak in February in Florida at Faith Farm's 60th Anniversary Homecoming, Teen Challenge for Women, Glades Correctional Institution, Martin County Jail, Eastham Home for Women and in Lexington Kentucky at the Federal Medical Center.

Marty Angelo worked in the entertainment business from 1965 to 1980 as a television producer, record promoter, disc jockey, restaurant/nightclub owner and personal manager for rock 'n' roll bands.

Angelo was arrested in 1980 for two counts of possession of cocaine. Through this life-shattering event he experienced a "new beginning," a dramatic and electrifying conversion to Christianity. This miracle happened in 1981 prior to serving two-and-a-half years in a federal prison.

For more than 25 years, Angelo has worked with various faith-based ministries such as; Teen Challenge of Southern California, Faith Farm Ministries of Southern Florida, Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministries, and the Drug Abuse Foundation of Palm Beach County Florida.

Marty is currently a full-time minister to prisoners, substance abusers and troubled celebrities. He is the author the popular testimonial book, "Once Life Matters: A New Beginning."
