Former Zondervan Bible publisher to serve as 'champion for Bible engagement'

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., June 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- IBS-STL Global has appointed former Zondervan Bible Publishing Group executive Paul Caminiti to the new position of Vice President of Bible Engagement, effective June 22.

Caminiti joined Zondervan in 1998 as the Senior Director of Ministry Resources, later serving as VP and Publisher for Bibles and VP of Bible and Church Engagement. He was responsible for developing key partnerships with Campus Crusade for Christ, The Billy Graham Association, Prison Fellowship, and other ministries. During his 11-year tenure, he helped launch award-winning Bibles, including The Bible Experience (Audio Book of the Year) and The Archaeological Study Bible (ECPA Gold Medallion Award). Caminiti also guided the trade launch of the TNIV translation.

A research project sponsored by the Willow Creek Association polled more than 200,000 church members to determine what they most need from the Church. Nearly 90 percent said they needed help in understanding the Bible in depth.
