SHILOH, Israel, Oct. 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- David Rubin, founder of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund (SICF), will arrive in the U.S. on Nov. 10 for a two-week media tour beginning in Pittsburgh, Pa. Rubin will meet with media representatives and supporters of SICF to raise awareness of the organization's work, as well as the increase of Islamic threats to the Biblical heartland region of Israel.
Rubin is currently scheduled to appear on Cornerstone TeleVision Network (CTVN) in Pittsburgh on Nov. 12 and Christian Television Network (CTN) in Largo, Fla., on Nov. 13. He will make additional appearances through the southeastern U.S. during his tour, which will also highlight God, Israel, & Shiloh - Rubin's book that relates the Biblical and historical saga of Israel as well as the story of the heroic families living in and rebuilding the Biblical heartland of Israel despite the obstacles in their path. A portion of the book's proceeds will benefit the work of SICF.
"Since the launch of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund, we've been able to help families rebuild their lives after suffering massive traumas and injuries," said Rubin. "Terrorism continues to plague Shiloh, so there's still much work to be done. We've had a tremendous amount of support, and we're prayerful that we will be able to continue serving the needs of our community's children through treatment, innovative programming, and financial aid."
Rubin founded SICF after he and his 3-year old son Ruby survived a vicious terrorist shooting attack in 2001. Rubin began receiving dozens of requests to share his compelling story, and, in response to the outpouring of support, he launched the organization to help ease the pain and fear experienced by young victims like his son.

The mission of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund (www.ShilohIsraelChildren.org) is to ease the trauma of terrorism in children and rebuild the Biblical heartland of Israel. The organization was established by former Shiloh mayor David Rubin and friends of Israel in the U.S. to support therapeutic, educational, and recreational projects for children in Israel - particularly in the Shiloh bloc of communities where the children have suffered from the terrorism of the past few years.
