SUNBRIGHT, Tenn., Aug. 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- For several years David Todd, founder and director of the Appalachian Advocacy Association for the elderly and disabled has been attempting to alert citizens of Tennessee about judicial corruption and abuses that exist within Tennessee's, state, county and local municipalities that target the elderly and disabled.

The Appalachian Advocacy Association became a target after exposing corruption. Officers from the judiciary, courts and bank involved themselves in the attempted persecution of this Tennessee non-profit corporation. The most recent attempt was the illegal seizure of the associations van that was used to transport elderly and handicapped individuals.

Over the past four years, the Appalachian Advocacy Association for the elderly and disabled has successfully challenged public utilities, assisted living facitities, doctors, banks and members of the courts and judiciary. The association was formed to expose and prevent the abuse and exploitation of the elderly and disabled. Malicious acts of persecution and horror stories of physical and mental abuse are numerous, citing the need for judicial reform and the implementation of accountability law.

The association is currently working on resolving and exposing cases of denial of due process in Union, Fentress, Morgan, and Cumberland Counties. Investigations have been launched into the starvation deaths of two individuals in different assisted living facilities where the same bank was the conservator. A custodial matter involving minor children in Fentress County is presently under investigation.

The association has reported that political corruption seems to thrive in smaller rural communities where judges, lawyers, bank officials and even some spiritual leaders will prey on individuals having lower levels of education who put their trust in public officials.
