WINCHESTER, Va., July 23, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Executive leaders of Christ-centered nonprofit organizations have opportunities to participate in roundtable discussions with their peers in Atlanta Sept. 13 and Dallas Oct. 16 through CEO Dialogues led by ECFA. CEOs, presidents, executive directors and senior pastors will join in strategic sessions with like-minded ministry partners to focus on critical needs, network and build partnerships.
"Within a limited registration of 25 people per event, these ministry leaders have a powerful one-day opportunity to blend their experience and knowledge to produce a synergy of solutions-based creativity," said Dan Busby, ECFA president. "CEO Dialogues provide the opportunity for the highest leaders within Christian nonprofits to participate in the biblical principle of 'iron sharpening iron.'"
CEO Dialogues began in 1992 with the mission of helping CEOs pursue biblical excellence in nonprofit service. Through the customized dialogue format of these events, leaders can find straight answers to their hardest questions and receive input in off-the-record discussions with colleagues who understand their unique daily demands.
Almost 1,000 CEOs nationwide have been equipped in one-day regional roundtables. ECFA leads four CEO Dialogues annually.
Ed Morgan, program director, will lead the Atlanta and Dallas CEO Dialogues. Since 1993 Morgan has been president and CEO of The Bowery Mission and Kids With A Promise, based in New York City. Under Morgan's leadership, the ministries and their parent organization, Christian Herald Association, have reorganized, focused on an outcomes-based purpose statement, built three of New York City's most effective homelessness recovery programs and tripled their incomes.
Jerry White will join Morgan as co-facilitator for the Atlanta CEO Dialogue. White is international president emeritus of The Navigators, a popular speaker at conferences and churches, and author of several books, including "Making Peace with Reality: Ordering Your Life in a Chaotic World." With a PhD in astronautics, he served as a mission controller at Cape Canaveral, taught at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and retired from the Air Force in 1997 as a major general.
To register for the Atlanta or Dallas event, visit the CEO Dialogues webpage at www.ecfa.org. Event cost for ECFA members is $199 and $249 for nonmembers.
