MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Pikes Peak chapter of The American Advertising Federation gave out its best in advertising awards last Saturday night. The big winner was the internationally renowned creative, production, and distribution shop based in Colorado Springs- Envoy Creative Media.

Creative Director and founder Richard Beattie and Production Director Mark Oss garnered 4 awards that evening for work that includes clients National Day of Prayer, Focus on the Family, and Promise Keepers. The big surprise was a spot that Beattie wrote and Oss produced for a local church. The Church at Cheyenne Mountain started last year hiring Envoy Creative to create radio commercials. The spot was voiced by a woman who sees her community in a more compassionate light since she started attending The Church at Cheyenne Mountain.

Beattie said after the awards, "I feel great when a commercial for a new church in our community could win "Best of radio" with the competition from some elite firms and such well done creative that we heard from our peers. It just goes to show that people are hungry for community and are looking for creative ways to say it."
