NASHVILLE, April 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- Traveling the world for over 20 years spreading the Gospel through music, the Katinas are going to the next level of their ministry.
Following a meeting with one of their pastors, Rice Brooks, the process of becoming licensed ministers began. In the new season of ministry, the Katinas are moving forward with Family Live Night concerts. "There are three ingredients that are crucial to having a healthy family - Fellowship, Faith and Forgiveness," said James Katina. "These are the truths that we've experienced as a family with dysfunctions."
Having a father with a past of alcoholism and being five of 12 children with 17 children of their own, the Katinas have faced many of the issues families face today. Topics will include family discord, divorce, addictions, blended families, and dealing with teenagers. Their focus will be encouraging families that God wants to restore hope and unity to them.
The theme of the concerts will be - Through Strong Families we can build Strong Communities, which in turn will build a Strong Country.
The Katinas consist of five brothers, James, Jesse, Joe, John, and Sam who are from the Samoan Islands and have been touring and recording for the past 20 years.
