Last month a high-profile atheist named "Thunderf00t" challenged Comfort to a discussion about the existence of God. The encounter took place, and the 80-minute discussion was watched by 24,000 people in the first week. Thousands left comments ranging from, "No matter what you believe, it's clear that Thunderf00t was no match for Ray Comfort in articulating his argument" to "Thunderf00t won the debate, hands down." Another wrote: "This was a rational and relaxed discussion which makes it in itself ten times better than most religious debates you see on T.V." The YouTube version had poor sound, so the entire unedited discussion has been released on a high quality DVD:
