VANCOUVER ISLAND, Canada, Oct. 26, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- World Net Daily (WND) has signed an agreement to purchase 1,000 hardcopies of The October Testament to sell at their superstore, superstore.wnd.com/booksbysubject/BIBLES/department/books. This agreement gives them the exclusive right to sell hardcover editions of The October Testament in the USA, except for the publisher's remaining first edition copies.

Baruch House still has about 100 limited first editions left, in which the copies are numbered and signed by the editor, Ruth Magnusson Davis. After they are sold, the only place to purchase hardcovers will be through WND. However, paperback editions are always available in the Createspace store, and on Amazon.

The October Testament is the gently updated New Testament of William Tyndale. After his martyrdom in 1536, a man named John Rogers, also martyred, published these scriptures in a little-known but very important Reformation Bible called the Matthew Bible, which was licensed by King Henry VIII in 1537. The October Testament contains original notes and commentaries b William Tyndale and John Rogers.

Ruth Magnusson Davis is founder and editor of the New Matthew Bible Project. Her goal in updating the Matthew Bible is not to make a modern bible, but to keep the language of the original as much as possible, which she calls the real language of the faith. Because the KJV New Testament was largely taken from Tyndale, readers will find much that is familiar here, and beautiful, but easier to understand. Bio: Ruth, a retired lawyer, is a scholar of early modern English, the writings of William Tyndale, and the Matthew Bible. She holds to the fullness of Reformation doctrine, with one foot in the camp of evangelical traditional Anglicans and another with the Lutherans. She presently resides in Canada.
