MEDIA ADVISORY, July 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Missions is for every believer. The Great Commission doesn't just apply to a select few--all of us are called to share His truth with others," said Tim Rickel, vice president of Development. "This issue of The Call is designed to spark some thoughts and inspire believers to take big steps of faith."
Through real-life stories of people becoming missions-active, practical how-to articles, and even a section for kids, this issue, titled "So You Want To Be A Missionary," seeks to demonstrate what being involved in missions looks like. Tough issues like missions and race, making a difference on short--term mission trips, student loans, finding your calling, and much more are addressed.
"Our society is very much focused on self, and reaching outside that mindset can be difficult," said Rickel. "That's why we're here -- to encourage, to listen, and to provide the tools to help you experience what God wants for your life."
