MEDIA ADVISORY, April 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- The author of, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You Can't Make Him Think says, "Atheists are fuming because I have exposed their big secret--that they believe that nothing created everything." Ray Comfort said, "I received a stack of snail-mail from a group of Southern California atheists, who saw our billboard which said, 'Atheist: Someone who believes that nothing created everything. A scientific impossibility.' They felt so strongly about its message that they went to the trouble of sending individual letters."
An atheist blogger wrote: "I am angry at you Ray. STOP, STOP, STOP saying that an atheist is someone who believes something came out of nothing." Comfort wrote back: "If you say that there was no first cause (a Creator), then you are stuck with the unscientific and thoughtless belief that nothing created everything. So, what is it that you believe? Is it that something created everything? Then you are not an atheist because you believe in a Creator. Or do you believe that nothing created it? There is no in-between."
The best-selling author added, "Many people are deceived into thinking that an atheist is an intelligent person, when the opposite is the case. They don't think very deeply. I was surprised that a high profile atheist recently called her latest book, Nothing: Something to Believe in. I guess she wasn't thinking when she came up with the title. Atheists are even writing to my friends, asking them to bring me to my senses and stop exposing what they believe."
Comfort's ministry has just released an Internet video which shows atheist Richard Dawkins saying that he believes we may have been created by aliens. In the clip Comfort said that he offered Dawkins $20,000 to debate, and challenges him once again, but this time with a twist. The clip is spreading across atheist sites and is getting sharp reaction. One blogger said, "If I never see, hear, or read anything about Ray Comfort ever again, it will be too soon. Seriously, he is a stubbornly ignorant **** wad. Why do people keep talking about him? Especially people like Richard Dawkins?" Another replied, "When we saw Dawkins speak at OU last month, he mentioned the debate challenge from Comfort. He said that he declined the challenge but made a counteroffer that if Comfort donated $100,000 to the Richard Dawkins Foundation, he would do the debate."
Comfort added, "More evidence that atheists don't think very deeply is their recent billboard campaign that says, 'Don't Believe in God? You are not alone.' They are right. None of us is alone. God is everywhere." You can see the latest challenge to Richard Dawkins, on: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHaSZtf5I1k
