Christian Publishing Company Takes on Controversial Issues

Contact: Deborah Dombrowski, Lighthouse Trails Publishing, 406-889-3610

EUREKA, Mont., Aug. 9, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Lighthouse Trails Publishing (est. 2002) is taking a new approach to addressing controversial issues in the evangelical and Protestant church. The ministry, based in Eureka, Montana, began publishing Booklet Tracts this year, providing short concise topical resources for Christian believers.

The Booklet Tracts are unique in two ways: first, they are not the traditional small tract size but are the size of an average book (but with only 14-18 pages) on a high quality gloss paper; and two, they are addressing issues that are not being published by most other Christian publishers today.

Topics covered in the Booklet Tracts include: Yoga and Christianity - Are They Compatible?, Energy Healing, Israel (on Replacement Theology), Rick Warren's Daniel Plan, Protecting Children From Sexual Predators, Signs of the Emerging Church Coming Into a Church, Roman Catholic influence, Mysticism in the Church, Native Spirituality, and more.

Since launching the Booklet Tracts in January, the editors at Lighthouse Trails have made note of the enthusiastic response by its readers, with over 35,000 already sold. "We have come to believe there are many believers out there who are concerned about these issues that other publishers aren't addressing," says Lighthouse Trails chief editor David Dombrowski.

David and Deborah Dombrowski began Lighthouse Trails 11 years ago when they learned that a mystical spirituality was coming into the church through Spiritual Formation programs, and no one seemed to be warning about it.

Today, the publishing house consists of 35 authors and editors with a steadily growing readership, currently at around 20,000 people as well as numerous ministries and organizations. In addition to the books, Booklet Tracts, and DVDs they produce, they began Lighthouse Trails Research Project in 2004 providing free articles, research, documentation, a free weekly e-newsletter to visitors of the website, and as of this year a subscription-based print journal.

Lighthouse Trails wanted to make the Booklet Tracts affordable so they could be purchased in bulk and handed out. Each book is $1.95 retail, with quantity discounts as much as 50% off.

There are currently 24 different topics being covered with 10 more planned before the end of the year.
