MEDIA ADVIOSRY, Jan. 29 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bridge Ministries announces the opening of our new Bellevue Facilities. Located in the North Park buildings just off the 124th street exit of Hwy 520, the two facilities house our Administrative offices and Mobility Center. The east 12356 building upper level Suite #103, is home to our Pastoral Ministry and Guardianship Agency, along with administrative, volunteer resources, and staff offices. Here, Bridge Ministries' dedicated staff members and volunteers coordinate our purpose built enrichment programs, designed to "bridge" the isolation felt by so many people with long-term disabilities. The improved office space allows room for small group gatherings to share the gifts of life.
The west 12328 building lower level is the site of our new Mobility Ministry production and distribution center. This Durable Medical Goods recycling center carries on the long tradition of providing FREE mobility equipment to those who cannot afford to purchase these important items. People with long term disabilities without insurance, or other financial assistance, can find items such as canes and walkers, or complex power wheel chairs. For those who can afford to pay, and prefer the advantages to our environment of recycled items, we ask for a small suggested donation to help support others in need.
On an appointment basis, the center is designed to receive, recycle, and distribute 25 of the most common types of medical equipment. Items are donated by healthcare and retirement facilities, as well as individual donors. All items receive a thorough cleaning and inspection, and are repaired and adjusted for serviceable use by a cadre of volunteers. We offer no guarantees, but these items are repaired to perform as close to 'like new' as practical and offer years of service life to those who receive them.
For more information on opportunities to: volunteer and join the team, donate your used equipment, check availability and arrange an appointment to pick up equipment call: 425-885-1008 or email us at: equipment@bridgemin.org.
