Moody, whose husband was a Southern Baptist minister for more than fifteen years, writes a fictional account reflecting the struggles and disillusionment often encountered in the home and family of those in church ministry.

Annie McGregor feels like a widow--alone, empty, and dangerously frustrated. For years she has played out her role as the dutiful pastor's wife.
