YORKVILLE, Ohio, Aug. 25, 2015 /
Christian Newswire/ -- The Chrisagis Brothers and the eight pioneers of Jesus music who gathered at the Legends event in Rayland, Ohio August 15th were amazed at the turnout. It was a packed house for a four and a half hour concert that no one wanted to leave.
The Brothers planned the event, organized it and found that even though the churches didn't support event the Christians did. They came in droves and word of mouth is spreading for next years line up.
This year the Chrisagis Brothers hosted and started the event with the lively song "Sing & Shout." Then John Schlitt from Petra fame took stage and had the audience up and moving. There were tributes to the Legendary artists who died like Keith Green, Dottie Rambo, Rich Mullins, Andrea Crouch, and Larry Norman. There were video greetings from artists who want to come next year like Evie Tornquist Karlsson, Russ Taff (who will be performing with the Chrisagis Bros for Christmas), Randy Stonehill, and Nancy Honeytree Miller (who will also be performing a Christmas concert with the Brothers). The show featured artists such as Farrell & Farrell, David Meece, Kelly Willard, Steve Archer, Chuck Girard, and the final legend to take the stage was Scott Wesley Brown who brought the audience to their feet on the song This Little Child and closed with I wish You Jesus - with all the pioneers on stage holding hands and giving a powerful altar call.
Brian and Shawn Chrisagis have been working on ideas for next year with their assistant Lynda Sullivan who worked hard on the event with the brothers and their staff of workers. For more info on this event and for upcoming Legends events log onto:
