WASHINGTON, Nov. 3, 2021 /Christian Newswire/ -- Family Research Council's (FRC) daily radio and TV program, Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, continues to expand its reach, now airing on NRBTV--available in more than 39 million households across the United States on DIRECTV® channel 378 and through Roku®, Apple TV®, and Amazon Fire TV® streaming services.
Washington Watch began broadcasting as a video program in April and has recently partnered with CBN News to provide top-of-the-hour news coverage. FRC continues to add new radio stations, broadcasting today on nearly 800 stations across 47 states.
"We here at Family Research Council are excited by the exponential growth of Washington Watch," said FRC President and Washington Watch host Tony Perkins. "There is an incredible thirst for news and insights delivered from a biblical perspective. The tremendous reception that the program has been getting is a testament to that. And we are grateful to be partnering with NRBTV to reach an even wider audience."
"We are thrilled to add Washington Watch to the NRBTV lineup," added Troy Miller, CEO of NRBTV. "NRBTV seeks to deliver to our viewers quality content that is informative, edifying, and engaging, and Washington Watch is just that! If you want to hear from leaders and newsmakers who are having a positive impact on our nation, this is the show to watch."
Washington Watch airs every weekday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Eastern. The live program features interviews with U.S. Senators, Members of Congress, and other government officials, as well as leading experts and the newsmakers of the day. On radio, Washington Watch airs on the American Family Radio Network, Bott Radio Network, Christian Satellite Network Radio (CSN Radio), Kingdom Keys Network, KTLW Radio Network, and independent Christian radio stations across the country. It also streams on HisChannel, LIFTABLEtv, TonyPerkins.com, and Facebook.
"America has found itself at a time when legacy media can no longer be relied upon. And social media is silencing conservative viewpoints while at the same time claiming to be the town hall of this generation," said Perkins. "Conservatives need news sources they can trust, and Washington Watch seeks to meet that need."
