VERO BEACH, Fla., Dec. 16, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian radio host Rick Wiles says there's a simple solution for America's complex problems: "The nation must return to Jesus Christ. There is no other option that will succeed."

Mr. Wiles is the founder and president of Trunews -- a one hour international newscast broadcast on the Internet and three world-band radio stations covering most of the continents of the planet. Trunews has been on the air since 1999.

Trunews recently sponsored a major public event to drive home the message. The Christian broadcast ministry sponsored a three-night event titled America's Hope. The theme was "Jesus Christ is America's only hope."

Trunews purchased a huge revival tent -- nearly 10,000 feet in space -- and 1,000 padded folding chairs. Trunews also invested tens of thousands of dollars in a widespread advertising campaign throughout Florida's Treasure Coast. The advertising campaign included half-page newspaper advertisements, television commercials on Comcast Cable TV, and 60-second commercials on numerous Talk/Radio and Christian radio stations. America's Hope was held at the Indian River County Fairgrounds in Vero Beach, FL. Vero Beach is a popular Atlantic coastal city southeast of Orlando.

Pastor Jonathan Cahn, a Messianic Jewish pastor from New Jersey, opened the first night with a powerful message titled "God's harbinger to America." According to Pastor Cahn, there are troubling parallels to the September 11 attacks found in Biblical passages in the Book of Isaiah. Pastor Cahn warned the America's Hope audience that the USA appears to be mimicking the same mistakes made by the ancient Israelites. If he is correct, the consequences for America will be disastrous. Mr. Cahn recently published a new book titled "The Harbinger: The ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future."

Trunews host Rick Wiles delivered the keynote message on the second night. The former TBN marketing director told the audience about the life-changing vision he experience in 1998 while working for the Trinity Broadcasting Network in Irving, TX. In the vision, Mr. Wiles saw American cities on fire and stunned refugees fleeing the burning buildings. He told the audience that the vision was so stunning that he eventually resigned from TBN and traveled across the USA for nine months speaking to audiences about trouble coming to America. He told audiences in 1998 and 1999 about Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda, nuclear terrorism, food terrorism, cyber attacks, and a coming financial collapse caused by a crash in the derivatives market.

Dr. Allen Keyes was the keynote speaker for the third night. The former U.S. ambassador eloquently delivered a powerful speech about the origin of our freedoms and liberties -- and the on-going assault today to erode those rights. Dr. Keyes boldly proclaimed that our rights come from God, not government.

Each night of America's Hope was opened by nationally-recognized Christian musical artists. Vicki Yohe, Charles Billingsley, Adam Crabb, and Lester and Holly Rector inspired the audiences each night with anointed praise and worship music. Vero Beach-based Jessica Aaron and her band opened each night's event.

Rick Wiles, senior pastor of Flowing Streams Church in Vero Beach, said the purpose of the three-day event was to accentuate the message that there are no political solutions to America's economic, political, and social problems. "Many Americans -- including devout Christians -- are mistakenly looking to the 2012 elections as a solution to the nation's worsening condition. No politician can fix our problems. Jesus Christ is America's only hope," Wiles declared.

"I strongly support Christian involvement in the political process, but it's not the solution," said Wiles. "The blame for this country's problems does not belong in Washington. It belongs in the pulpits of America's lukewarm churches," Wiles stated. "If Christians really desire to change America, they must change the hearts of millions of men and women who no longer follow God's ways. This nation has lost its fear of God. If we don't return to obeying God's commandments, this nation will continue to decline until it collapses under the weight of its sins and rebellion. There's not much time left for the USA to decide which way it wants to go."
