LOS ANGELES, Oct., 18 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Truli Media Group, Inc., parent company of Truli.com, a global internet TV network featuring inspirational faith and family entertainment, today announced a media distribution partnership with WorkingNation, founded by venture capitalist Art Bilger. WorkingNation is a national non-profit campaign dedicated to raising awareness about a looming unemployment crisis in the United States. It highlights programs that are preparing Americans to adapt to a rapidly changing U.S. workforce that could see as many as 47 percent of all jobs eliminated by technology within the next 20 years.
WorkingNation's goal is to "Keep America Working." The organization's efforts begin with innovative storytelling. WorkingNation has partnered with Academy Award-winning directors and producers to create a wide range of compelling programming that explains the reality of Structural Unemployment and investigates potential solutions to the problem. The partnership with Truli Media Group will support the distribution of this content through its internet TV network Truli.com and social media platforms.
An array of original WorkingNation video content is now available for streaming on Truli such as "Slope of the Curve," an animated digital short by Academy Award-nominated director Marshall Curry that uses humor, data, and an entertaining animation to style to define and explain the country's unemployment crisis in a relatable way.
Additional WorkingNation content available on Truli includes a series of roundtable discussions with thought leaders and experts about the employment crisis and episodes of "Jobs 2.0," a series of digital shorts by two-time Academy Award-winning director Barbara Kopple that highlights some of the inspiring work already being done to combat the employment challenge and keep Americans working.
"The simple truth is that the future of work and employment is changing - faster than we ever could have predicted - and we are not ready," said WorkingNation CEO Art Bilger. "In fact, most Americans are dangerously unaware that this looming crisis even exists. At WorkingNation, we are excited to partner with Truli Media Group so that we can extend our message to Truli's audience of families across the country while there is still time."
Michael Jay Solomon, Truli's Founder and Chairman is honored to support this very important economic initiative. "WorkingNation has started a national conversation about the issue of unemployment and the impact on the middle class. We at Truli will support the dissemination of WorkingNation's digital content outlining scalable solutions to address this looming crisis."
