RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 6, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- In his new book "Divine Revelation: a call from Christ to join the armies of Heaven," John Meacham reports seeing the Dazzling Light of God's Glory as described in the Bible's Old Testament. Meacham revealed that he saw a cloud formation that looked like ten perfectly formed gigantic black cylinders rolling across the northern horizon and shares that suddenly from between two of the cylinders, a glorious yellow light appeared and descended toward him. John describes the light as a beautiful glowing radiance shaped like four huge diamonds connected at their right and left corners and writes that just before the light overwhelmed him, the dazzling yellow diamonds changed shape into an iridescent white Moravian Star and flew into a dogwood tree.

In "Divine Revelation," John Meacham wrote that after he saw the dark clouds and the glorious yellow light the Holy Spirit instructed him to go back into his house and to watch for the Bible's pages to part. John discloses that the Bible pages parted to page 380 and he read this passage from I Kings Chapter 8: "As the priests were leaving the temple, it was suddenly filled with a cloud shinning with the dazzling light of the Lord's presence."

In "Divine Revelation," John Meacham presents other Bible passages that mention the Dazzling Light. One passage was in Leviticus Chapter 9, when after Aaron had finished all the sacrifices: "Moses and Aaron went into the tent of the Lord's presence, and the dazzling light of the Lord's presence appeared to all the people." Another was in Ezekiel Chapter 43, where he wrote: "Then I threw myself face downward on the ground. The dazzling light passed through the east gate and went into the temple." John then shares that these three passages call Christians today to a life of holiness, sacrifice, and obedience.

In "Divine Revelation," John Meacham closes his discussion of seeing the Dazzling Light with the hope that his work for Christ will reflect the light and his prayer that the Dazzling Light of God's Glory will return to the church of His Son, Jesus Christ.
